Welcome to Classics/Art 329

This is a highly personal course about the history of art, film and popular culture in France, England and Germany and particularly in America. In this course we also invite out stars, directors and writers from Hollywood and discuss their original work.

The course is taught by University of Arizona Regents Professor David Soren.

Sometimes guests drop by. In the past we have had  visits from actor Lew Ayres, actor Tony Franciosa, country singers The Dixie Chicks, action film star Brad Harris, director Robert WiseStar Wars designer Harry Lange, West Side Story starRuss TamblynCeltic singer Loreena McKennitt, tv comedy icon Carol Burnett,MSNBC-tv host Rachel Maddow and many others.

This year we are inviting Joe and Justine Medeiros and featuring their hit film Mona Lisa is Missing. Joe was the head comedy writer for 22 years of the Jay Leno Tonight Show plus comedy writer for Dave Chapelle, Tom Green, Bob Hope, Howie Mandel and Yakob Smirnoff.
